Damnit
So my family isn't coming this weekend after all. To make a very long story short, there was an issue with the hotel and they couldn't get a room anywhere else (thank you Red Sox). I've spent most of the morning on the phone with my mom and different area hotels trying to set something up, and then with my mom trying to cheer her up and trying to work out another weekend for them to come. It will be tricky because it will be right before my sister has field hockey tryouts and also pretty close to when I go to Europe, but I think we might be able to swing it. All three of them at home are very grumpy and I'm pretty grumpy too. So....now what am I going to do this weekend (other than deal with shower planning and showing the apartment....)?

That IS a good plan...it would be fun, and it would be following the devil's instructions. Now if only there wasn't that boy problem....
What a bummer, sweetie. I hate when you get all prepped for something then it falls apart at the last minute (kind of like my life :-) ).
I think this calls for a shopping trip to find yourself a nice new Kate Spade something.
