Okay, it's a commercial of the Duke game, so I don't have much time.

Just got home from shopping on Boylston/Newbury Street. I went with E. to help him pick out a suit. He ended up getting two suits that look really nice on him. I think that I did my job well (particularly of picking shirts/ties to go with the suits. Go me.) Funniest moment of the day: We are in Brooks Brothers being helped by a rather elderly man. After sending E. to the dressing room, the guy asked for his shoe size. After he answered (with what is apparently a relatively large shoe size for his height? I don't know.) , the guy smirked at me and winked before going off to get the shoe. Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. Afterwards, I couldn't stop giggling (I mean, think about the situation) and E. was all like, what? What are you laughing at? (Thinking that I am laughing at him in his suit.) Anyway, he got two nice suits, and I was a good fashion advisor.

After the suit shopping, I made a purchase on Newbury Street too....... I pretty bad and spent more than I should of. Ooops. I am working hard at not feeling guilty, but I am sure that I will once I see the credit card bill.

Once I got home with my exciting new purchaseS, I found out some other excellent news....Illinois lost!!!! I made a couple of phone calls to Illinois alums to console, er, remind them that I was right that they wouldn't run the table. Now I am watching the other, considerably more important game. I am really not pleased with how Duke is playing....we need Dock back now!! And we need to learn how not to foul, as usual.

Okay, I need to get back to game watching (and the concomittent yelling at the TV and cursing). I have some more stuff that I might write about, but now is not the time. I'l probably set up some links and such as well and definitely attempt to be less boring. On that note, I realize that my last post is stupid. All of the events mentioned were really funny at the time (as was another involving someone covering my desk with condoms) but were not funny out of context or if you weren't there. So please ignore.
